(Silk Tee dress - Zara/Tassels - Temptation Alley Haberdashery)

I find that every time I attempt a DIY it’s never a geniusly thought out operation.

My ‘masterpieces’ tend to be chopped up (shorter/messy/un-hemmed) attempts to save an item one step away from the trash, hence my usual absence of ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos*.

Anyway my guerilla attempt at using some tassel I’ve had lying around for a while led me to create this dress. It was pretty simple; I just used my machine to sew some tassel around a tee dress I had hacked the sleeves off. I’m not sure what I’m going to do/wear with it for now, but I’m happy.

*I really do appreciate those lovely bloggers who put lots of effort into nicely planned tutorials. When I create a real masterpiece I promise I will too, lol.
